What a way to start the summer term with a bumper blog covering the best of the first two weeks of term!

What a fantastic last week of term! We welcomed Sam to our team!

This blog is a celebration of everything being in Sparrows is all about! What a cracking class we have! Your children literally makes us smile and feel proud every single day! We know sometimes they struggle, sometimes they have hard times, sometimes they need us to have their back and help them through, but wow- they just are becoming such awesome individuals who are finding their own way!

Have the BEST half term, we have 7 weeks left of this year and we intend to make it the best yet! I think I say that every term- but watch this space!

I know I say this ALOT! But honestly, I cannot get over how much we pack in to a week! Even when it’s been so different, with no Stacie and the weather being just AWFUL I felt sure this would be a short blog…its still over 10 minutes long!!

I love it!

This time a year ago, Sparrows was very different! We were still working our way through the first lockdown! I sometimes think we take that for granted and we really do need to appreciate how well the children have coped with all the change around them! Take a deep breath and think back…our children are AWESOME 🙂

We said goodbye to Stacie on Friday, I am sure you will join me in wishing her all the very best in her future career. She has worked hard along with the rest of the team to make sure your children have the BEST time at school. Stacie, we will miss you!

Brrrrrrr, someone turned the heat down this week and we were not happy about it!

However, we still had fun!

Enjoy the 3 day weekend!

What a glorious first week back we have had! The sun has shone, we have new PE equipment outside, a new tannoy system in school and a whole new IT system (hence the delay on publishing the blog this week).

Well, this is a record even for me!

A reminder that I have had to hand my laptop in to be upgraded over Easter, I can still access my emails so please do keep in touch with photos and videos of what you all get up to!

It’s a shortish blog because I wanted to upload it before I ran out of time 🙂

We have had a lovely week! Everyone was back in again and all was well in Sparrows! Even the heavy rain on Friday didn’t dampen our spirits, or the impromptu fire alarms on Thursday afternoon 😉

Next week I have to hand in my laptop for an IT overhaul, so I will post the blog on Thursday with hopefully some Easter Fun photos if I have time before the deadline!
