Well, we hope you all had a fantastic week off! This term started with quite literally a BANG! We celebrated firework night in our own unique style!
We also want to share with you what we do when we go outside! At SD we are lucky to have a Forest School teacher and she encourages us to take learning outside at every opportunity by celebrating outdoor classroom day throughout the year. Luckily in Sparrows we go outside ALL THE TIME! Even in the pouring rain!

Well, here it is, as promised our EPIC last blog of the term! And to make it even more awesome, I have done a small Halloween inspired blog as well. So two blogs for the price of one!
On Friday we played pass the parcel and had some fun with a spooky photo booth. One Sparrow was keen on Face Painting and even made me into a Cat. It was a lovely day!
I have a confession to make!
I left my black box at school on Friday with ALL the weeks photos on it! So the photos on this blog are minimal. Luckily I had the class iPAD at home so there were at least some! I know my team will be disappointed as there are some smashing photos and videos from bucket time on Thursday 🙁
I am so sorry, BUT I hope you enjoy the short blog! I owe you a mammoth one next week to celebrate our first full term as Sparrows!

Oh my…we are half way through our first term! Yikes! It’s been a fun filled, slightly wet weather week! But we have filled our days with some fab moments! Enjoy!!
There is NO swimming at Bishops Waltham next week! And remember school is closed on Friday for an inset day.

What a great week in Sparrows. The sun has shone on us and we are beginning to really get used to our new class and each other!
It’s meant to be a gorgeous weekend so enjoy and make the most of the sun and heat!

Oh my word what a wonderful week we have had!!! I loved looking through all the photos, especially as I am now not in class on a Monday or Tuesday. Leanne and the team obviously had a lot of fun!
The children have been amazing!! We have had such a blast! So many magical moments!! Our plasma screen has now gone up so our room is officially ready!
Swimming at Bishops Waltham begins on Wednesday 25th September.

Welcome back to a brand new school year!
Its all change for Sparrows! We are in a new building with new neighbours! We welcomed new team members Leanne, Stacie and Sophie and two new Sparrows to our class!
Now, the programme I use to make the blog videos is not working, so I made it on Windows Live. As part of the rules for using our blog I can’t upload my own music to it. So, it is just a photo blog, but I really wanted to share the day with you.

5 Full Days Next Week! Yeeeeeeeeeees!!!
I can hardly believe I am typing this! But today was our last trip out as this Sparrow Class. Tomorrow we say Goodbye to Ruby, Aryan and Kris who start secondary school in September. We wish them all the very best!
What better way to say goodbye than a good ol’ parkathon! Itchen Valleys’s big park was shut so we changed our plans and had a great day out at local parks.
Huge thanks to our friends in Jays for coming along and to our volunteers, Guy, Sue, Mark & Hannah!
I would also like to mention my team; Helen, Beulah, Vicky, Nicole & Nat. They work hard everyday to make sure your children learn, have fun, are safe and have every opportunity to have the BEST time ever! I feel very lucky to have worked alongside them!
All that remains for me to say is Happy Summer Holidays to you all! It’s been a pleasure and a privilege to work with your children this year! As always I have learnt so much from working with them and I have loved every minute of it!
