WOW how did we GET here!!?? It’s scary how fast this term is going!
This week Sparrows enjoyed their first horse riding session! It was a great morning! They all did really well!
We enjoyed a fun filled week! The children are doing really well with their learning and all of them are WOWING us with their communication skills and their wish to join in with whole class activities 🙂
Will the rain stop? Will there ever be snow? Luckily we did have some sun shine 🙂
We will send home an up to date timetable for you all next week now that everything is finalised for this term!
Well, I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year break! We were straight back to it this week! Our topic this term is ‘People Who help us and Electricity’. Watch this space for more fabulous blogs! It’s a short one this week, I can’t promise you next weeks will be as small!

What an awesome week! We have been hit by the Christmas cold with staff and children feeling pretty poorly. I really hope you all get better and can enjoy the Christmas Festivities!
It truly has been a magical week! But actually, this whole first term in Sparrows has been a complete blast! Our little group of small folk have captured all our hearts and we are immensely proud of all the progress they have made. They are all such pals, we have such a blast , sometimes I am not even sure we can call it “work”! Be proud of them!
Well done to all the adults in Sparrows too, without you we wouldn’t be able to do what we do!
Sorry I forgot to send home your child’s beautiful card! I am more annoyed than you can imagine! But I will send it home in January!
All that remains for me to say is MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of you! I literally cannot wait for 2020! It promises to be even more fabulous!

A fantastic week! Literally blown away by all the children this week! AWESOME!
In Year 6 children are given the opportunity to go along to the Special Celebration at Winchester Cathedral. This year our two oldest Sparrows went! While the boys were at the cathedral with Helen and Beulah the rest of Sparrows enjoyed the school Christmas Fayre. We even brought the fayre to Sparrows! It’s been an awesome week!
Next Stop…Friday 13th for our Christmas show! Woop woop!
There are trips and then there are Sparrow Class trips! Honestly I am so SO so proud of the children! They were AWESOME and just really had the best time! Huge thanks to our amazing team and also to Sue and Bev who came along to support.

Wow what a week! The Playground was reopened and oh it rained and rained and RAINED! But by Friday the sun shone, so we made the most of the weather!
Remember it’s our Christmas Market Trip on Wednesday! So remember to send in your photo ideas and £2 for Christmas shopping!

What a week! The weather has not been kind, but it never gets us down for long!
Neon day was certainly a great way to end the week!
A week which saw us celebrate Remembrance Day and Children In Need. Two very different days, but the children really surprised us.
Attention Autism allows us as educators to create shared experiences with the children to develop their understanding of the world!
