It’s been a crazy week everywhere in the world. Shepherds Down school is open but not as we know it. This will be my last blog for a while, as we are minimising the amount of time we spend in school. I know how much I shall miss sharing photos so I may try and post a sneaky one at some point.
Remember if you choose to keep your child at home let us know and we will prepare a home learning pack for you and will either send it home with your child or deliver it to you.
We are here to offer you support in any way we can over the next very uncertain weeks. It’s a scary time for all of us, so from my own family to all of yours I send you all a virtual hug x

Another fab week for Sparrows!
We had a really productive training day on Friday! We hope you all enjoy a longer weekend!
Oh my goodness the WEATHER so far this term has been pretty awful! However, it didn’t dampen our mood! Friday was SD’s World Book Day! It was GREAT FUN!

Sorry for the late blog, I have been up to my eyeballs in laminating and making visuals for my son Fergus, but have thoroughly enjoyed my Sunday morning look back at the week that was!
It was so great to see everyone back! We missed one of our Sparrows who was poorly at the start of the week, by Thursday we were back to a full team 🙂
We had a really fantastic trip to the cinema on Tuesday to watch Dr Dolittle, all the children (and adults) really enjoyed it!
Let’s hope March is a little sunnier??
Well, that’s another term ended! It’s so scary how fast the year is going! This has definitely been the WETTEST January term we have EVER had, so once Storm Dennis has blown through, let’s hope the rest of half term dries up a wee bit so we can all enjoy some outdoor FUN with our families!
We have really enjoyed the topic “People who help us” and can’t wait for next terms topic on “Animals”! Starting with our fun trip to the Cinema to watch ‘Dr Dolittle’

Can you believe we only have one more week left???
I cannot believe January has finished! Now, what we need is some cold, dry sunny days! Although rain doesn’t stop Sparrow Class!
It’s a really short blog as I only had photos from today on the iPOD as I forgot to save the other photos from the iPAD before I left school! Sorry 🙁 Trust me, I am very sad as there were some smashing bucket photos from this week and sadly one of our Sparrows went home poorly so he has no photos from today 🙁 (sorry Caroline & Kitty- you always watch and comment)
I will try harder next week and remind myself to save photos from earlier on in the week!
