We started strong this week, but by Wednesday we had some poorly Sparrows. I think in this new COVID world we live in its about taking each day as it comes. We will get through all of this together and remember myself and Leanne are always at the end of the phone or an email if you need us.
So, it’s a short blog but really shows all our best bits! Be proud x
The new school year has begun! Sparrows are back with a bang! It’s been an awesome week! We welcomed new and old Sparrows back and two new team members, Claire & Vanessa.
I am incredibly proud of how well everyone has coped being back together after such a strange few months! If THIS is what week 1 is like I cannot WAIT for the what comes next!

We have said Goodbye to Sophie who is off to Uni in September!
That’s it for another year! I am incredibly proud of all our Sparrows and look forward to all being back together in September and welcoming 3 new children in to our class.

A great last full week of term with all our Sparrows, we said goodbye to two of our sparrows who we will see in September.
This week, we prepare to say goodbye to two of our Y6 boys. It’s going to be emotional!!!
It feels so strange that we have got to week 6, during these very strange times!
We have had a lovely week this week!
It’s sports week this week, so we are planning lots of sporty fun and look forward to joining in with you all at home for our throwing game and a post it note challenge 🙂
We have had another lovely week in our Sparrows bubble!
I enjoyed being in across the week, it was great to spend time with all the children and all the adults! This week it’s RAINBOW week! So Wednesday will be a home/school bright rainbow day. I will send the link out on Tuesday 🙂

Oh my WORD! This is a happy day for me!! I can’t describe how awesome it is to have all our Sparrows back at school. I know it’s all still a bit different and we are not all together at the same time, but it has been so fab to see everyone across the week!
I thought I would mention how we are managing social distancing in our Sparrow/Magpie Bubble. Our whole class is not back together, there is never more than 10 in class in total. We make sure all adults keep 2 meters apart from each other. We have hand washing down to a fine art throughout the school day. After every play time/PE session we use anti-bac spray to wipe down ALL play equipment. We do not mix with any other bubbles in school. We make sure that we do the same with our musical instruments and cooking utensils. All work tasks are made up for each child. So we are doing everything we can do to reduce the risk of Covid-19. It’s been a tough 3 months for all of us, there has been some awesome moments at home and at school, but the BEST is yet to come! We promise to make these last few weeks as fabtastic as we possibly can in these very strange times!
