Owls

Its been a great start to our new half term! I have also included some photos from the end of last half term, so enjoy! 🙂

We had some great fun these past two weeks! We have celebrated Chinese new year and have done some great topic work on ‘people who help us’. This included a police bucket time, which I think you saw dome photo’s made a face book appearance! I also managed to get some photo’s of our P.E session, which is rare as you imagine it is very busy! Owls particularly love climbing the wall bars!

Owls first two weeks back after Christmas! The weather has been slightly wet, but that hasn’t stopped Owls having a lot of fun. This week Owls all had a great time in Hydro and in cooking we made banana smoothies! Owls loved pushing the blender down to turn it on and all had a go at turning the blender on. We’ve had a great couple of weeks back.

Sorry it’s a little late! Owls have been loving our sensory story ‘hot’. We also did a very fun popcorn bucket time for cooking where we watched a popcorn machine make popcorn! Then we all got to try some of the popcorn, which went down very well with owls 🙂 Enjoy the blog!

Two weeks after half term! I can’t believe how quickly these last two weeks have gone. In this weeks blog you will see a big focus on FIREWORKS 🙂 Owls did some great firework painting in art using tubes! We then did a firework bucket time, which has to be one of my favorite bucket times this year! Owls loved it! We had some fun light up toys for stage 1 and for stage 2 we had party poppers. For stage 3 we made fireworks by splatting paint 😀 We have also started our new sensory story ‘HOT’. In the story we experience warm objects: watching a candle, warm water spray, warmies (warm cuddly toys) and hot chocolate! It’s been a great two weeks 🙂

Another great couple of weeks! We seem to have done a lot of Art and mark making these past two weeks so please enjoy our lovely messy photos!! We have also moved on to brushing our own teeth in hygiene. We have practiced the past four weeks on our big model teeth with our giant toothbrush, so it is time for the real deal!
