Pupil perspective – what Ospreys class have been doing.

First our new topic is about animals. In our lesson on Wednesday we learnt about what living things do; like breathing, nutrition and other things that living things do for them to survive, and we also wrote about living and not-living things.

Next, Millers Ark Farm visited our school on Wednesday with donkeys, pigs and other animals. Ospreys’ turn was from 11:30 to 11:50, so we had 20 minutes to go around and stroke the animals. We also made some rules when being around the animals, like for example; don’t sit on the animals, and other rules.

And then, on Friday, we dressed up for World Book Day in either costumes, home clothes or just school clothes. One of ours even dressed up as Wednesday Addams! And a usual on a Friday, we had afternoon Golden time, which means after colouring, we do extended choosing!!

And finally, in RE we did a Spring hunt, we found some bluebell shoots, elderberry growing on the trees, bird song, and other things that marked that spring is coming!
